Hello readers, designer babies have many different names such as, bioengineered babies, genetically modified babies, and many other names. The names of what they are called are not what I am here to talk about right now I am here to explain what exactly designer babies are. Designer babies are genetically modified embryos made in a lab by scientists, the 1900's were the beginning of the thought about designer babies or bioengineered babies. There are benefits to designing your own baby the way you want, such as, ensuring your child to be healthy, smart, athletic, and/or free of disease or disability. Although, ensuring all of these things for your new offspring there are still risks to making your "perfect" baby in a lab.
